I keeping looking and looking for a high intensity workout and came the insanity. This is a big investment (value $ 155.00), well worth the price. I warn the considered purchasing this program a few things: r r1. Working-out is no way suitable for beginners! The workout is more suitable for those high intensity workouts or athlete. Beginners should start to crunch, Kathy Smith, Self, Shape or even workouts. R r2. If you have any kind of problem with your knee or foot, or even heart. You may want to look for something else. R r3. $ 155.00 seems like a lot of money, but if you are like me and you buy the workout DVD every few months or so, it is pretty much add up to about 14.99 a workout, and a substance constitutes the book is included in the package. R R4. If you are going to purchase from the website of Amazon, I would like to propose to order it directly from Amazon, among one of the other sellers, because you are guaranteed your package and it takes only a few days to come. R R5. You get 10 + workouts (some dvds have more than a workout with them) r ri am really excited about the workout. Everytime I finish a workout, I think accopmlished Becue it is very, very, naughty! R rNo pain, no gain!

Shaun T does it again. Insanity is a great workout. I would definitely recommend this product.

Absolute best workout videos ever! Before the start of the madness, I worked 5-7 days per week for at least 50 minutes. I had definitely reached a plateau with my training and fitness studio, and was executed for a change. After nearly two weeks I'm already seeing results. I haven 't even started yet the training down, and I'm already here, the definition is awesome! During the training sessions can be a challenge, Shaun is very motivating and makes me push myself harder. I have several other training videos and madness, hands down, is the best. I 've actually started a little training group in my office. While you can commit 't to (the schedule six days a week and they ' re just now beginning to incorporate exercise into their lives), three days a week, I'll bring in every training session for I 'm on and all of them together. Great fun! Before ordering frenzy, I read many reviews and had a few knee problems, I was a little nervous. If you Shaun and his teaching (plus some good cross-investment follow-) coach, you should be fine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I 'don t encounter any problems because I do honestly don ' t know what I 'd if I could ' t have the training sessions Insanity. I 'd probably be very CHY b *%! Buy it, do it and be amazed! Shaun, I love it!

I graduated the same P90x and P90x Plus the workout insanity and love the program. While P90x has given me real results, I wasn 't such a big fan of all the lifting and I had a greater cardio. This program gives me a wonderful workout the cardio and I 've seen good results so far in the first three weeks alone. After 60 days of programs and plans to return on P90x Plus for 120 days and then makes insanity for 60 days. Just a warning, the program is not for beginers or people trying to get in shape. You should have a high level of fitness abilities before trying this program. If you are trying to get in shape, start with another fantastic ... P90x fitness program. The cardio workouts are very, very difficult and a major challenge. My wife thought it was too much cardio for him to maintain his muscle mass and weight, so I just added to P90x cardio workouts to his routine.

I did a lot of video / DVD workouts over the years, starting with Jane Fonda in the 80s, The Firm, Cathe Friedrich, Jari Love, P90X, etc ... and I love them all, but this is certainly one that gives you the most for your money. I love weight but I also like that there are no trappings of this workout, it 's just you and your sweat. I love P90X, but hated all those damn pull-ups. This exercise is difficult, very difficult but the exercises are simple and achievable. I love it. The guy who said Don 't do it before bed because you won ' t sleep is right - you'll be jumping out of your skin with energy! I lost two pounds the first week and all my muscles are firmer. I am a woman 43 years old, 5 '8 "and need to lose at least 20 pounds but I 've worked for a long time and I am very fit under my fat. This workout is not for the novice exerciser.

I bought the product on eBay (which is less than half the price of the official site) and it works very well. I was overweight and out of shape and he warned that it is not for beginners. However, I went for it still. I just do what I can and rest when needed. This series will get the heart pumping and is a good way to lose weight and get in (better) shape. I 've completed two weeks and I can say I ' m doing better I get through most of warm-up without stopping now. My only issue was that 90% of the workouts and stretches to focus on the legs. With little upper body training is done. Yes, some but it is extremely disproportionate. Most of the time I stop because my legs were burning, not necessarily because I 'm out of breath. A cluster can not get a six-pack and a ripped upper body this. Overall, it 's worth the money if you buy it elsewhere for $ 150 for 11 discs is ridiculous IMHO.

So far, 3 discs in my game Don 't work. Some skip the workout track and just go to cool other parts of skip the workout or start in the middle.

I was very pleased with the DVD I admit it is a challenge that impressed, but in a good way. The exercises are not extremely complicated, as in some other training programs. It makes you work and work hard. I like this better than P90X (which I also own). So if you are looking for something to step up your game, then it is not.

I 'ma former junkie P90X. The program really changed my life and made me into the best shape of my life, even at 40 years. R RSO I was pumped when I saw this one coming down the spear. Got it for my birthday last year. However, this does not P90X. It's not a criticism at all, just don 't expect more of the same. R rThis are all floor exercises using your body weight with a lot of isometic and plyometric exercises that will work you - hard. This will bring you into the best shape of your life. I say that with some warnings. R rit 's divided into two segments of four weeks with "restore " weeks in between. I completed the first four weeks, the "restore " week and the first week of the second half of the program. Is it to slow because of the intensity of my work go up to 12 hours. R ri now doing several times a month, when time allows. I can say this, though: I do P90X of Plyometric workout when I need an easy day. My leg strength, especially the kinds of explosives, have increased tenfold. And cardio is through the roof. R rBut this, you will kick ** whatever you type in. Even the form of the participants in the DVD to stop and rest. It 's intense. R rit is tough on the body, though, so be prepared. If you aren 't in a similar form, you may want to rethink this one. I pulled my neck muscles in the first week because I didn 't breathe properly. This will tax the joints, knees, legs, back. This requires serious attention. Breathing is the key. Drink lots of water. And move at your own pace. R rThe really is just a warning: You may lose some muscle mass. This doesn 't mean you will get a less powerful but without training for biceps or lats (no pull-up here), the people "charm muscles " will lose size. R rPeople commented on my weight loss, even though I wasn 't try to lose weight. I just could not 't eat enough food. Your food intake will determine your results. So I shrunk but, in many ways, I was stronger than ever. Size doesn 't always equal to the force. R ryou will see your body change, you will be the core of the strongest that 's once and you'll be in great shape, even if you only do half the intensity of the program. R ri give it a thumbs up, but knowing what you want to get out of the program and understanding of what it was before investing time and money in it.

The workouts are great indeed. Anyone who complains is just too hard to modify and build slowly to doing what the crew of the screen is doing. R rthe problem I have is about the quality of the DVD 's. I ordered two sets - one to give as a gift. In both sets of routines "Maximum number of interval training and sports ABS Insane, " and "Insane ABS, " jump from one part of the routine for another ten seconds or less. The timer on the screen jumps to sceen changes, but the timer clicks over DVD in the normal way, so the DVD 's it ' print 'this way. In one of the sets I received, all DVD 's supposed to contain two routines that are not the second. R rBeachbody publishes this and do not constitute a quality company. When you contact them about the problem, which had no interest because I had purchased from secondary sources. If you wish to acquire this training, they do so knowing that you could be receiving only a portion of which is paying.

This is my second time trying this program, but not because I felt defeated because I couldn 't keep up with the time schedule. I was restricted time and during long hours at work, the last thing I wanted to do was go home and work out. That and I always felt like I was failing at his program because I wasn 't able to keep up. But, I 'm back and I have to say it ' sa tough program, but I 'm actually listening to Shaun T ' s words this time. It may seem like I 's pushing you to go as fast as him and the rest of the people in the video, but clearly states in every video I have to take your time. Don 't neglect form for speed. And he 's right. I 'm only in the first week and I feel like I want to curse him out every single time, but it ' s all worth it. The shoulders are sore, but in a good way. And I 'm positive that this time I will finish it. If anyone 's wondering, I ' m an Avid gym goers. I 'm there 4 days a week (at home 2 days) Intense mixing cardio with strength training, exercise sound is not a foreign term to me. Just stick with it and I 'm sure you ' ll see results.

This workout is without a doubt the most intense workout I 've ever done. To make a long story short, I 've lost fourteen pounds in the first two weeks with this program. I 've eaten healthier Which played a big part, but I also am committed to this program. I can 't wait to see the results I will have at the end of the sixty days. I will update this review then. Keep in mind though this isn 't some easy workout. I knew I was in for a challenge when the people with perfect 10 bodies in the video were having to take rests throughout these workouts. What 's cool is Shaun T. is encouraging and it feels like he 's in the room with you. I also save time going back and forth to the gym and can do it all in the comfort and privacy of my own home. It comes with a calendar so you are sure to be on the right page everyday with this program. If I can lose 14 pounds in the first two weeks imagine what you can do. If my results continue to be this great Shaun I will write a letter and thank him. I really appreciate him putting this program together.

Great, great workout! Extremely difficult, but that 's what ' s great subject. I am a big supporter of the program P90X, but I 'm to see results much faster with Insanity. I 've lost 4 lbs and 2 inches in my waist in four weeks. (I 'm 5 '6 and 135 lbs). I really recommend this product. Even if you are a beginner, you can "Go at your own pace ".

This is a cardio exercise program credible. I 've done 3 rounds of P90X and love the product, but it really does not have a good cardio component. With Insanity I 'm burning between 600-800 calories per exercise (and that ' s by taking a break). R ra few important points: You must be in very good condition before you do this type of program. It is designed for individuals who want to take it to another level, not for individual sediment want to lose 50 pounds. Also, if you have knee problems, this may not be appropriate, there are many high impact moves. R ri would recommend cross training shoe with excellent support, a mat (if you're working on a hard surface such as concrete), and heart rate monitor. R rThe program based on interval training, which is scientifically proven way to lose weight very effectively, making it ideal for those who want a more tight and hard body. One thing that I 've done is added two days of training upper body strength because of Insanity has very little in the way of upper body work. 60 days with no power to exercise your upper body can lead to atrophy. There is enough plyometric training for the lower body so there is no real need to include additional work for your feet. R rOverall a large (very) intensive cardio program. A few repetitions in practice, but Shaun T. doing a very good job continuously provide clues about the form and breathing. Highly recommended.

This is insanely tough workout. You will drink buckets of water, and sweat it all out. The workout consists of a bunch of exercises using only your own body weight to work your entire body: pushups, suicides, high knees, all kinds of stuff. There are a lot of intervals, where Shaun T has you doing exercises in three stages progressively faster. As has been mentioned, you just gotta go at your own pace - if you can 't keep up with the people in the video it ' s OK as long as you 're doing your best. Even the people in the videos take occasional breaks when things get too much for them. R rFWIW, I 'm 39, was 5-10 and 162 when I started the program. I only lost about 5 lb, but got pretty cut. IMO the real benefit of the program is the cardio shape it gets you in.

This workout is the banana! Crazy sweat it comes off fast. If you want to sweat much this is your workout. I use to have bad knees before this workout that popping and cracking noises and I had problems with them in this workout. But if you press on it through the legs will be strong mad. As my biggest problem was when I needed all the suddenly run across the street or simply could not run without pain spontaneously in one of my knees. But now I can run or sprint across, without having to do a stretch or warm up first. GL still needs to have the last part of the program is the part of cardio-Max, I know I'm going to get hammered! Rthe ab routine is like you've never done before. You probably feel your stomach working. The only thing is I have some weight included in some of the routine.

Age: 26 Weight: 185 lbs r ri usually make a few pumps and Situps about 4 times a week in my work and I walk about 2 miles per day, sometimes fast-paced walk. When I entered this program, I knew it would be difficult, but it was much harder than any workout I've ever done. It's like some reviewers have said, "not " to follow the teacher during the LEARN WHY. They move quickly and it seems that I 'm constantly looking at the screen saying "Are you F @ # $ ing serious? " A lot. The program is very repetitive and I don 't know why it comes with both DVD ' s when many of the same LEARN WHY are on each DVD. They also made only one or two workouts on each DVD which range from 30 to about 45 minutes a piece so obviously they could have done this in a disk 3 to 4 set easily. The nutrition guide isn 't much help, because basically everything she suggests meals is just different from what could easily be summed up in the back of the box as ---> (during 60 days This workout DO NOT EAT FRIED FOODS) The teacher, Shaun T., is a great motivator and teacher, but I think he had some other single DVD disc 's that could offer the same advice but keep more money in your wallet. I would try to look those up. All in all I just don 't think this workout is worth the money. Be sure to check with your doctor before starting this or any workout. Peace.

I have been doing this workout fairly regularly for about a month now. Just this week, I decided to follow the schedule to see if I can keep doing it for the full two months. Let me start by saying that this is damn hard! I haven 't been able to complete any of the exercises without stopping for a break or modifying some of the most difficult movements (walking planks, push ups on one leg, etc., etc..) At the end of the workout, I feel exhausted. .. as I have nothing left. R rmy only concern about this exercise is the fact that I just can 't make any exercises.i know I'm sometimes a compromise to speed b / c it ' s so hard to follow. I wonder if it 's better to do something a little easier as Jillian Michael ' s Banish metabolism burning fat and be able to complete the entire workout. the end, that practice is to burn more calories? both are about 45 minutes. both work all the muscles of the body. However, the body beach is so difficult that I have to take a series of breaks, change and go at my own pace. M (BFBM is tough but doable and I can do everything 'asked to do.) I think I ' d have to tie me up any type of device burn calories to make sure. R ranyway, I would definitely recommend it to people who are looking for a challenging, intense workout energy, high. R rps. I should add that I am an active person. I run half marathons and paddling in a dragonboat team competitive. I think you can say I'm in shape, but I still find these DVDs to be insanely challenging!

RECEIVED AND INSANITY DVD SET & 2 dvds missing program. Only 1 of the dvds by could read by the DVD player, and the remaining were Unreadable DVDs and unusable. I am waiting to hear from books_4_lessss about my request to be able to return the set to them for a full refund. This is disappointing because a friend is doing the insanity Workout with GREAT results! I do not recommend ordering from books_4_lesss through Amazon.

I have this for Christmas and was really excited - he spent the first four days doing this according to plan. I should add that I am in my 30 'if you teach fitness classes in the gym and I'm fairly decent. Exercise regularly. However, I have a history of problems with my knees. Can I prevent outbreaks prevented by spear, etc.. This DVD set makes it impossible for people with joint problems - particularly the knees - to participate in this without seriously harming themselves. This is stated in the warning at the beginning of the program - but instead I read before falling to $ 150 in application. Shaun T is impressive - the program is a challenge and if you are looking for something to use at home, achieve that. It is addictive and intense. However, if you have the slightest problem with knees, NOT BUY!

I was really excited about this workout after the routine examinations 60 days and promised results Rave and was more than willing to suffer through the "Insanity . R rHowever I have joint problems in the knees. Not a problem often at least severely aggravated ... R rAlmost each movement of the entire series required to bend the knees down to less than a 90 degree angle and then pushing off and jumping in the air and then landing again in the same slope position. .. it only takes a few minutes until I literally almost collapsed from the strain on my knees. C 't use my knees I have a problem with it ' s put more weight my whole body strength to get out of jumping, crouching at the bottom of the bend, then turn off and pushing not agree with my knees. R ri know not everyone has this problem so I still give 3 stars, but I 'ma guy rather fit, I ' ve taken many classes in the gym and in the test Fitness "" I am much more representatives than any of the assistants featured.I really wish I could go.

JUST DO IT! RI wasn 't hestitant at all about ordering this dvd! I know it 's mind over matter. Yes It 's hard ... but worth it! My husband and I both are on the program together. I am 31 years old and a stay at home of two. I am 5 feet 102 lbs. I AM NOT doing this PROGRAM TO LOSE WEIGHT! I am however doing this to get shoulder tone (especially in the stomach area). Rmy husband is 5 '11 'cut and 190 lbs. He wants to tone as well. RWE ' ve been following the diet and exercise program religiously and after three days, my husband lost 4 lbs and I can see my abs! RWE 've only been doing this program for 2 weeks and LOVE it. Seeing the results so quickly make us keep on going. rNeither of us are graduates P90X. Listen to the advice of Shaun T: 1.) go at our own pace and 2.) frequently take breaks. RSEE you at the finish!

If you are looking for the next way to push your body to your limit, insanity is the thing for you! it is explosive, intense and demands mental toughness. Stick to the program and you will know it works .. If you are a begginner, please dont try this at home .. you can injure yourself .. try something lighter until you feel physically ready to commit to this program

Ok, I 'm 54 and running regularly, the weight lifted, but I did ' t get a reduction of body fat and inches that I wanted. I did P90X in the summer and a month of P90X +. Great programs that got me in the consistent routine in the morning (5), built training and overall strength, coordination and flexibility. With a weight loss of 2 pounds, but I admit I was not very careful with the nutrition plan. R tenant Insanity. I cut the white bakery products, sweets, sugary drinks, all drinks and desserts than once a week. Then the madness began. There 's no need to say what ' s in the package, others have done it. Let me say that I lost 12 pounds and an inch and a half from my waist in 60 days. This frame one in my family and friends said they had nothing to lose. R programs rThis works if you follow it. Don worry 't keeping up with people in the video, because none of them do all completion routines in any of the DVDs you do your best at your own pace, but it has to be your best. It never gets easier, because as you get more conditioned, do more repetitions. You should get tested for Fit, because you will see improvements and testing won 't lie and will keep you motivated. R rit 's not easy but it works. Nothing is worth it is that easy why should this be different? You have to be in decent, not great, shape, and follow the warnings about injuries and other potential health problems to health because it is a serious exercise. But if you get the green light and you stick with it, you won 't regret it. There 's nothing to it, but to do so.
