First of all, the delivery was a day or 2 ahead of schedule. I spent allot of time online video search of the heart before purchasing. I wanted to be sure you buy a heart rate monitor working in athletic clubs, ie, spin class, then the digital monitor was the way to go. I also wanted a monitor must be easy to use and read. I had brought back from the pulsar and the Timex, and as seemed to be digital and easy to use. I chose the Timex due to the fact that you can change the batteries you vs sending it to the producer. I used to watch about 5 days per week during exercise between running, cycling and also group classes in the gym. It worked great! I am very happy with the purchase.
I read the comments and thought that the work doesn 't. Took the plunge anyway. Best diving I've done. Had about a month. I have no regrets. The HRM is easy to configure. The manual does not go into great detail, but you get enough to get going and if you're a quick study he 's very easy. BY ALL MEANS READ THE MANUAL. The cost was a steal compared to other sites. I use mine at least twice a week and it works very well. I only use the watch in chronograph mode in time to my daily walk on my lunch break at work. I'm in my zone, that I customized. Tell me how long I was in my area and how fast I recovered and the total calories (requires tape to be there and watch in chronograph mode). The calories are a little exaggerated, but the RH is dead on. I regret that it does not save the workout totals for one log, but you can always write it down. Helpful Tip of Use plain old tap water to make it work. Only a wet finger tip and smear it on tape, and place it on TA DA! I love it, but it is the size of a watch girl, but you can hold it to your machine, how do I receive all the benefits without people looking at you funny. He won 't show my home elliptical as I expected, but that ' s that the bracelet is for. Buy it, you won 't be disappointed.
It arrived days before my first 10k race! I used it ( "violates the rule: You should not try anything new race day "), and it helps me to maintain a good pace so I can finish the race without fatigue myself. RPros: r - affordable r - Easy to use (can use it the first time without reading the manual.) R - Easy to maintain (cleaning the watch and the sensor, tossing band). R - I find it very accurate, doesn 't make jumps in Readings (I compared it to manual count: 15sec r x4 to rest; 6sec x 10 during training). I feel I can trust the numbers on hrm shows. R - Review option is a nice feature, it displays a summary of your training, time and heart rate during AVG r interval each. R - INDIGLO feature is nice and good enough to read the watch in the dark (use the jog in twilight, then work r time). R rCons: r - I ve I 'notice, so far. The only thing that can be repeatedly pressing the "mode 'button to pass between different features, but I can get new, no big deal. R RNOW I want another device, say, I know the distance run during my training sessions (as a beginner, I run a little more than 4mi, 4 times a week), to avoid using my car to clock the distance. Of course, that may be done using a GPS. Until now I 'm using a pedometer, but I want a more precise instrument. I ' m considering some options Garmin ... But until now, i 'm very happy with my choice. I recommend this watch to anyone who wants to keep his heart in the appropriate zone bpm during training!
I bought this watch for me to help train and monitor my progress (ie - split times, heart rate, calories). It works very well and the buttons are easy to push. My previous training was a Timex watch (I missed the old one) for the functions are familiar. I really like the 'Review screen ' and the information it has on my training. I was hoping the clock would be slightly lager than it really is.
This watch is suitable for someone who is serious about their fitness. I always wondered if I was training to hard or not hard enough. Now this watch is suitable to monitor your heartrate, your knowing whether training in the appropriate zones and calorie expenditure. I never managed without it.
This is my first heart rate monitor so I don 't have anything to compare against. I am especially during the spin and weight train at. I am a woman who weighs 120lbs. I wanted a little watch. I use the second to the smallest notch and Watch doesn 't look at the size on me. I chose this watch because I can change the battery myself, it calculates the calories and it 's very expensive. I 'm very happy with it so far. I like the backlight Because spinning takes place in a dark room. I think the calorie counter could be an overestimation because the Watch doesn 't ask for age or sex, just weight. I Don 't know for certain but I doubt somehow I burn 300 calories in 40 minutes to make weight. The chest strap is comfortable, and the heart rate monitor does not seem accurate. If you run out, you may want more features such as distance or GPS, but if you workout in a gym it is a good watch. R rit 's very motivating to get your heart rate in the area you want, instead of being lazy. I still haven 't have understood how to use the Recovery feature, but all other features are easy to use and understand. I intend to also use to watch when traveling as an alarm and also to check the time of the night and not wake my husband. Overall, a purchase that I have and I highly recommend it for someone who just wants a simple to use heart rate monitor.
I like this clock. Much better than my first Heart Rate Monitor Watch, a polar. The digital signal on that you get less interfernace, it has more features, and you can replace both batteries. I don 't think I will buy another Polar. I wish I would have bought instead Becue T5H911 this looks a little small on my wrist. It fits nicely. The band isn 't too close infact I have two or three holes to spare, and I'm a pretty big guy, 235 lbs. I would T5H911 Becue It 'sa like something a little bigger and the looks on my wrist. It 'sa minor issue. Am very pleased with this clock and have no problem with it for my workouts.
I'm a guy and Don 't think that this watch was designed for a man ' s wrist. Maybe for a child. I don 't have very large and still had to squeeze Wrist this month in the second slot. To give you an idea, the bracelet is neither 1 / 2 inch wide. It seems that I asked for my wife watch. It's small.
This is a great tool to help get in shape. Helps reach goals and very easy to use.
Model I 'm reviewing is a "T-zone coach 5K346 ". The only thing that seems different from the units sold here are the words "IRON MAN " on top of mine, vs. "FITNESS HRM ". And I'll go to 30m vs. 50m. All other specifications are the same, right down to the color of clock hands and buttons. R rI purchase this Timex HRM in the gym because the engine always had a problem to pick up the heart rate, mainly due to higher fairly quickly. When I was 18 years old, I had a break pulse 120, and the pulse peak at 250 ppb (verified by a PE teacher and a cardiologist). I was just told to exercise more. But I'm very lazy and have too easily tired. RNOW at the age of 33 years, I 'm finally getting serious about exercise. After going from 90 pounds to 150 pounds does not provide some motivation;) my pulse was high enough, but it 's still quite high - resting between 75-100. Timex HRM is able to measure 189 bpm after only 2 laps to swim back crawl. I bet my max rate is still more than 200 on the treadmill my pulse rate is more normal and consistent, about 150 bpm at 4.0 mph with a slope of 15 r rWhat I like most about this unit is a compact size. I have a very small arms and wrists, especially for a man. I 'm wearing a bracelet with the lowest size-2. Hours really striking, and no one knows I 'm actually wearing in HRM. Good calorie counter. R rWhat I don 't like as much as connectivity with a computer. Optional data recorder which should be worn when exercising. I'm hoping hour record data itself, and can be transferred to a computer later. I'll spend purchasing data recorder and just record manually exercise.
Excellent watch, simple and effective doesn 't look like you ' ve got a small computer strapped to your wrist. I was able to figure out the functions with only brief references to the manual. The HRM works consistently, and provides current, average and peak HR as well as your recovery time after entering different heart rate zones. I have small girlish wrist and this watch is perfect for me as the size isn 't large and garish. I wear the watch as my everyday watch as there is no indication that it 's watch anything other than a standard which was a key for me as well. All Batteries can be replaced without sending yourself anywhere. Overall very satisfied with the purchase, highly recommended.
I've been using my monitor three or four days a week for three weeks. I do not see the chest strap, so no complaints there. The screen is easy to read without glasses. I also can see the bar that shows when your heart is in your zone. This is a big plus. All and all, a good product at a great price.
If you 're like me and the exit for much earlier than your spouse and needed a nice awakening, this is it. My wife is a light sleeper, so I 't use an alarm clock. The Vibrating alarm works great. The band is comfortable to sleep on. Highly recommended.
The goods arrived on time and were exactly as described. All expected components were present and they all worked the first time. Very easy to use. I did not use all the features intricate and yet I suspect that will never get round to it, but the basic functions I used all of them work well and easily. The Dispaly is easy to read and switch between the functions is very intuitive. All componets to feel good and strong. I'm happy with my purchase.
It is not large enough for me. It looks like a toy in my wrist. r rI hate the chest strap too.
I weigh 190 pounds with a 34 waist and chest strap fits only. I have a small frame (although a little 'overweight) so I can see how the older men would have had a problem with a chest strap. But, it fits me so I went ahead and gave the clock to five stars. R rthe longer I use this thing I like most. I wear reading glasses or bifocals at 2.0x power. I can still read the time (instructions are a different story) without glasses. Stopwatch function in the range of HR appears above the elapsed time. Your current HR is a black slider above the range HR. This can be seen in the photo of the product. This is cool, because (without glasses) I can see if I'm starting to get out of range as the cursor approaches is high or low end of range (while being able to see the clock). If you just want to watch your HR can do but go to a dominant display with the stopwatch in a small font above it. R Ryou can set an alarm to sound when you exit from your HR area, too. R rit calculate the recovery of human resources during a period of 1 min or 2 min. And when the recovery period ends on the clock is smart enough to stop the alarm HR TOO LOW. However, if your HR goes off during the alarm tone continues to play the recovery. The watch also the recovery period begins as soon as you press stop the stopwatch. R rThere is an audit function so that you can see AVG HR, peak HR, HR min, etc.. If you enter your weight in the setup then estimated calories burned, too. It keeps statistics only on a single session. R Rafter you put in your values of HR at high and low for the range of HR, you can also select your well being "Area ", select whether you want to lose weight or aerobic fitness, etc.. The clock uses a different percentage of HR max to calculate the target range of HR depending on the area you selected. This "zone " in the setup so if you want to change your training goals every day, then it can be a pain to change every day ... but at least we wouldn 't need to enter values for HR or the percentage of the maximum figure that you want to use for that day.
T5H881 HRM I bought this to help my wife has started a training program. It 'easy to work and that has all the information they need. She is so happy with this product. The instruction manual was clearly written and easy to understand. RThere functions are hardly sufficient for the product without charge with things that will never use. Operation is simple and you can remember how to use it repeatedly without having to upgrade its memory to read the manual. Rthe price was excellent. Thus, to understand all these advantages in a Timex I decided to purchase a HRM T5J31 me.
This is a big watch. It helps me a lot when I worked Out. Not only display my heart rate, but it also gives me five different ranges to choose from. I also like the review mode where it tells me my workout is such that Max heart rate, min heart rate, average heart rate and calories burned. R rWhen buy it, I was a little worried that it may be too big, but it is a good size for a watch. I also misread the description and I thought that the watch does not download on my computer for a given graph. However, do you have to buy another product from Timex that is about $ 80 to $ 100. R rOverall, I recommend it. Great shows.
Compared to other online HRM, I figured it was big enough for the male doll. Wrong. It was so small that I tried at one time and realized that "this watch won 't work ". I went with the Suunto.
This is a great show together. It has many features, multi-lap chrono, countdown, alarm, and of course 5 Zone + manual function of HRM. I found the elusive alert very useful while working ... the slow bell will ring if I exceed my limit of scope, rings and quick if I need to go faster. R rthe one thing I do not understand is how to stop my workouts. I 've fumbling with him several times, but Timex makes it too easy to disable the HRM. I know other manufacturers or eleven o'clock, the watch stops automatically remove the strap, but not this one. But I'm sure if we actually look in the manual, it would not be so difficult. R Band rthe on the watch is a little thin (not as wide as a normal man 's watch). R rOverall I would give this show a 4.5 out of 5 stars just b / c of the complexity of turning off the clock.
This shows a very good quality, with many functions, but if you 're not used to have a watch with so many buttons, you really need to read the manual and pay a lot of 'attention. R The basics are quite simple but if you want to use it as a gimmick Trainning, you 'll need to adjust the few things that are not as intuitive. Rin General I 'm very happy with it and I ' m sure with a little practice, I 'll come to understand the capacity of all he has.
Pro: RI average 10 miles a week with legs and lungs to supplement my martial arts skill and I stand 5 '9 "and weighs 180 pounds. The key features for the watch is great for the casual to semi-serious runners and work out junkies. HRM, target areas that beeps if you exceed or fall below the average heart beats per lap, and approximate calories burned (I wouldn 't really rely on because every body is different) is to name a few features I want. The very affordable watch HRM, I 've was looking around for the last year and couldn ' t really justify payment of $ 100 + for a polar or anything within the price range - If I were a pro athlete Triathlon, the story would change. But I 'm that guards can meet some expectations the pro 's. r rcon: rthe clock face is a little bit small to read. tend to jog at night so ' s important for me to stay alert and not have to zone in to watch to know my HR and time. Therefore, it is the main reason why I changed it a Timex Ironman T5C411 Unisex 30-lap Digital Fitness Heart Rate Monitor Watch. T5C411 This is more aesthetically pleasing to a broad face, both functions, and some bucks out of the wallet. however, don 't discount its size for its function?
I had problems with the shipping, it got lost and I had to wait more than a month to get my product. rBut the whatch was good.
Watch this covers all my needs in a reasonable amount. Heart monitor works well, I 'm average height and build and watch fits in perfectly as well as heart device monitoring. It also has INDIGLO Which is a must for me to use it as my primary watch when I m 'not working out.
I bought one for my wife for Christmas and was so easy to use I bought one for myself. I wet the back of the sensor in tap water, put it on and it works just like it is supposed to watch with Timex. The Timex sensor signal is not read by the machines in the gym, so you must use the monitor (see).
